SUBJECTIVE Merges Fitness and Immersive Art
Mondays in NYC are often associated with rush hour traffic and #grindmode posts on social media. Well, thanks to the folks at SUBJECTIVE, we could disrupt the humdrum with a healthy dose of meditative yoga.
Now, youāre probably thinking, āWhat the heck does stretching my hams have to do with art?ā Weāve got two words for you: immersive art.
Yesterday, a 60-minute power yoga class that combined the healing power of Yogism with a sublime aesthetic experience was led by the amazing Sasha Paulava. It took place at Lume Studios, one of the top-rated spots in the city for immersive digital art experiences.
By the way, admission was complimentary for members of the SUBJECTIVE creative collective, so that was a really cool perk!
GenArt, Wine, and Love (October Edition) š·
If you missed it last month, youāre in luck because GenArt, Wine, and Love is coming back. Hereās the lowdown:
Every month, the folks at Station3 NYC host a community-focused celebration of generative art. Fueled by friendly vibes and incredible wine, this event is a great way to connect and create fun memories centered around GenArt.
For the month of October, our hosts at Station3 NYC have partnered with Sothebyās to deliver an unforgettable experience. You can certainly look forward to sharing a great experience with all the talented folks pushing the envelope of algorithmic creativity.
Itās happening on Thursday, October 12, with limited spots remaining (yup, itās a real blockbuster). The good news is that this is a three-session event, so thereās plenty of fun to go around. Wanna come through? Reserve a spot here.
MoMA Launches Postcard Project
The Museum of Modern Art has played a pivotal role in championing digital art on an institutional level. With its global platform, MoMA continues to blaze a trail for the appreciation of nascent art forms.
While most people scratched their heads and scrunched up their noses at on-chain art, the legends at MoMA have showcased this space, like Rafiki proudly holding up a young Simba.
Kinda like this.
Its latest initiative to take the world by storm involves a collaboration with 15 leading artists in the world of crypto art. Hailed as an experiment in borderless creativity, the MoMA Postcard project is a non-commercial yet highly significant piece of the grand mural living on the blockchain.
Each postcard is co-owned and was co-created, stamp by stamp, by all of the participating artists. Spanning 35 cities, 11 countries, and 5 continents, the journey of each stamp to completion was a truly globalized event.

Wanna know why the pieces are called postcards? Itās all about the creative process.
Each artist first created a unique prompt and minted a blank card. Then they designed their first stamp and circulated it like a digital chain letter until all 15 artists stamped 15 cards.
Weāve got it on good authority, though, that a limited set of postcards will be released to the public over the coming weeks. That means you can participate in this historic creative odyssey too! Sign up here for early access (youāre welcome).
Until then, you can view all the stamps and the journeys of the first 15 postcards.
